Friend,

I have some exciting news to share.

Today, I announced a plan for King County to work toward acquiring the former Cedar River asphalt plant site in order to permanently preserve it. The plan would transform a proposed industrial site into parks and open space that can be enjoyed by residents for decades to come.

This is a major win for the Cedar River and for our community, and I’m proud to have led the effort to make it happen. For years, I’ve worked with local residents and community leaders to bring this win-win solution to reality — one that protects the Cedar River corridor and delivers a decisive victory for our neighborhoods.

Now, thanks to that work, combined with the tireless efforts of so many in our community, we’re on track to permanently preserve this land and ensure it remains a community asset for future generations.

This is what it means to deliver results — solving problems, negotiating solutions, and standing up for the communities I represent.

But Friend, there’s still more work to do. We need to keep fighting for responsive government, fiscal accountability, and common-sense leadership at every level of King County.

Can I count on your support today to help us finish strong and keep delivering results for District 9 residents?

Thank you for standing with me to help me deliver results for our community!

With gratitude,
Reagan Dunn
