John, it's Gabe Vasquez.
We’ve all seen the disturbing footage: masked ICE agents violently detain people in broad daylight — sometimes without cause, sometimes without warrants, and sometimes without even confirming citizenship.
U.S. citizens and legal residents are being unlawfully detained. Families are being ripped apart. And people are being targeted just for the language they speak or the color of their skin.
This is racial profiling. This is government overreach. And this is not what real public safety looks like.
Instead of focusing on violent offenders, ICE is storming working-class neighborhoods, creating fear, dividing families, and undermining trust in law enforcement. They’re even trying to recruit officers away from local police departments — putting real public safety at risk.
John, we don’t need more cruelty. We need an immigration system that actually works, one that reflects our values: dignity, fairness, and humanity.
Will you add your name to stand against this cruelty — and call for an immigration system rooted in justice, not fear?
As someone who represents 180 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border, I’ve seen firsthand that we can have secure borders without violating rights, breaking up families, or resorting to fear tactics.
This fight isn’t just about policy. It’s about who we are — and who we refuse to become.
Add your name now to say: We stand against cruelty — and for an immigration system that works.
In solidarity,
Gabe Vasquez
