John it’s Janelle Stelson — the Democrat running to flip PA-10 from red to blue in one of the closest U.S. House races in the entire country.

I am stunned. My opponent, Congressman Scott Perry, just got even more extreme.

On a conservative talk radio show, he accused Democrats of “hating the military.” Even worse, he accused Democratic servicemembers of only serving as a “credential” so that they can run for office.

“They don’t care about the Constitution or the nation’s defense,” he said.

I find his remarks deeply offensive, especially to the brave Americans who have stepped up to serve this country. And frankly, I think he should apologize immediately.

This is just one more example of Scott Perry’s extremism — this time at the expense of the men and women who protect our freedoms at home and abroad.

I’m running for Congress to fire Scott Perry. Patriotism means a lot of things – including fighting to protect women’s reproductive freedoms, our neighbors’ healthcare and the right to vote. And patriotism means fighting to make this great country even greater.
