This isn’t good enough John. This Conservative government isn’t fit to lead this country. Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings are playing politics with people’s lives. They’re risking livelihoods just to save face. It’s a disgrace.



With 120,000 members and thousands of elected representatives around the country, the Liberal Democrats have a loud voice. We’re using it to demand better.



Join now  ➜ <[link removed]>The government took action on coronavirus far too late. They pushed our NHS to the brink. After public outrage they’ve had to make huge U-turns on everything from feeding hungry kids during the school holidays, to testing and tracing, to furloughing workers.



We demand better.



We fought Brexit every step of the way, with everything we had. We stood up for the rights of EU citizens, battled to protect freedom of movements, and worked to safeguard our economy. There’s still so much work to do. The UK’s deal with the EU isn’t done yet, and the government is making a dog’s dinner of it. They’re putting UK jobs at risk and using EU citizens as pawns.



We demand better.



So much is wrong in our country. Housing is unaffordable for many and people are living in overcrowded, unsuitable accommodation. Mental health provision is underfunded and stretched far too thin. The Black Lives Matter movement is uncovering deep, systemic racial injustices in our society. Families are having to choose between heating and eating.



We demand better.



We demand better because our country deserves better. It needs better. The Conservatives are running Britain into the ground, and they can’t be trusted with the recovery from this awful public health and economic crisis.



The Liberal Democrats have a radical, liberal plan to build back better from coronavirus. We have a vision for a fairer Britain with a strong place in the world. Together, we can make this a reality.
