Hi there,
Mark your calendars: Arizona's next Election Day is November 4th, which is just two weeks from today!
Growing up in rural Arizona, I learned early that local elections shape our daily lives just as much as the big races that make headlines. Local elections make a critical impact on our schools, our roads, our water infrastructure, and our communities' futures.
If you’re eligible to vote in Arizona and/or are willing to help us ensure a fair and safe Election Day for everyone, here are some great resources:
* Find your polling location or nearest drop box: Head to IWillVote.com [[link removed]] to find where to vote in your area.
* Check what's on your ballot: Visit the Clean Elections website [[link removed]] for a county-by-county breakdown of races and measures.
* Questions or problems? If you have questions about your registration, your ballot, or anything else, call the Voter Protection Hotline at (833) 868-3429 .
* Want to help protect the vote? We need Voter Protection volunteers across Arizona. Sign up here: [link removed] [[link removed]]
If your ballot hasn't arrived in your mailbox yet, you can call our Voter Protection Hotline at (833) 868-3429 or reach out to your county recorder’s office. Don't wait until the last minute — fill it out and return it as soon as you get it. Put your ballot in the mail by October 28th to ensure it’s returned in time or drop it off at a dropbox by Election Day.
Every election is decided by who shows up. In local races, that's especially true. Margins can be razor-thin, which means your vote carries even more weight.
Republicans are counting on low turnout in local elections. They're betting that Arizonans won't pay attention to races that don't make national headlines.
Let's prove them wrong.
And if you can, chip in to support our work to protect the vote and support Democrats up and down the ballot: [[link removed]]
