The Trump EPA just finalized new regulations on PFAS chemicals that fall woefully short of what’s needed to protect consumers.

PFAS chemicals have been linked to cancer and are commonly found in consumer products like cookware, clothing and carpeting. These dangerous chemicals have been found in the blood of nearly every American and never break down naturally.

We need serious action to fight the growing PFAS contamination crisis, but the Trump administration has sided with the chemical industry. That’s why EWG is working with champions in Congress to pass meaningful PFAS reform to protect public health.
