Right now in Ohio, Republicans control the offices of governor, secretary of state, attorney general, and both chambers of the state legislature – not to mention Republicans hold full control in Washington, too.

And we’ve felt the harm caused by their disastrous policy agenda.

But Ohio’s local elections on November 4th are our chance to take a piece of our state back.

Municipal governments, school boards, and ballot measures are the foundation of our democracy. Our communities feel the outcomes of these races every single day.

These are the people who decide how we keep our communities safe, and fund the measures that pay for affordable housing, public safety investments, and our parks. These elections are also our first chance to tell Republicans in charge that Ohioans are fed up with their disastrous policies. We won’t let them continue the hurt they’ve inflicted on our families. We’re ready to start taking our country back and end their billionaire-first agenda.

Finally, we’re building a foundation in these races for what’s ahead. Next year, Ohio will once again be the tipping point for control of the U.S. Senate.

We need to show strength next month at the ballot box so we can win, elect Ohio leaders who look out for their neighbors, and build the momentum we need to take back the Senate in 2026.
