Hi John,

I’m Audrey Denney. I grew up on a family farm in Central California, where I learned early that when something breaks — whether it’s a fence, a tractor, or someone’s spirit — you roll up your sleeves and get to work.

When I moved to Chico 25 years ago for college, I waited tables and bartended to pay my way through school. Later, I became an agricultural educator, helping students understand where their food comes from and the dignity of hard work. Today, I work with food banks and nonprofits across the country, fighting to make sure every family has access to healthy, affordable food.

Every step of the way, I’ve seen how hard people work just to get by, and how broken our system has become. Families are struggling with the cost of housing, health care, and child care while corporations and billionaires keep cashing in. And politicians like Doug LaMalfa keep selling us out to Donald Trump and his big-money backers.

That’s why I’m running for Congress, because enough is enough. Northern Californians deserve a representative who understands their lives, listens to their struggles, and fights for them, not corporate donors and special interests. 

But I can’t do this alone. I’m not taking a dime of corporate PAC money, which means this campaign depends entirely on grassroots supporters like you, John.
