Earlier this year, my opponent was the
top-raising challenger in the entire country. It’s clear that California’s 49th will be one of the most competitive races in America -- and the GOP’s donor network is working overtime to unseat me.
I’ve had the honor of representing this district since 2019, but the truth is CA-49 is one of the toughest seats to keep blue in the state --
if not the nation. Our margins of victory have gotten slimmer each cycle, and this year’s political landscape will be our most challenging yet.
Between redistricting and a flood of right-wing money, we’re preparing for another razor-thin race. That’s why we’re getting to work now -- not just to defend our seat, but to protect the House majority.
