In 2018: Right-wing super PACs spent millions of dollars to flood our state with negative, fear-mongering ads. But Kansas voters saw right through their lies and helped me flip this district from red to blue.
In 2021: Extreme Republicans in the legislature re-drew Kansas’ Congressional districts, pushing thousands of Kansans who voted for me out of the district. But in the next election, I won by even more.
Now, in 2025: Donald Trump has ordered every state under Republican control to gerrymander their districts even further, and KS-03 is next on the chopping block.
Yes, given everything we’re up against, this is a chilling moment for Kansas and our democracy as a whole. But I’ve never run scared from a challenge before — and I’m not going to start now.
