It’s been over three weeks since Republicans shut down the government.

The American people are fed up. Republicans are on vacation while Donald Trump gives $40 billion dollars to a foreign government yet can’t find the resources to extend ACA tax credits.

We are days away from the start of the open enrollment period. Every day that goes by, hardworking Americans will begin receiving notices that their healthcare premiums, co-pays and deductibles are about to skyrocket.

Democrats are united in making sure we cancel the cuts, lower the cost and save healthcare. We are NOT backing down.

That’s why I called on Donald Trump, JD Vance and Republican leadership to meet in person.

We are ready to debate government funding and end the Republican healthcare crisis.

Anytime. Anyplace. With the cameras rolling.
