Last week, I was targeted by LibsOfTikTok – a far-right social media account that deceptively edited and amplified one of my posts in which I made a simple, moral statement: we must continue to fight against Nazis.

This was the tweet that sparked the flame:

For that, they posted my home address publicly.

They threatened to kill me, my children, and even my dog.

All because I spoke out against … *checks notes* … Nazis.

This is political violence. Full stop. The kind meant to intimidate and silence those of us who refuse to shut up and yield to hatred and conspiracy.

Coordinated far-right campaigns like this happen when extremist elected officials and their allies weaponize hate. It trickles down and becomes barbaric, dangerous, and personal.

But the violence these domestic terrorists unleashed on me revealed their weakness: they are afraid. They fear truth and accountability.

They are threatened by candidates like me – ones who speak truth to power and refuse to back down.

Because they know we can win.

The moment we’re facing is a somber one. We’re at a crossroads, redefining who we are as a country and deciding if decency, honesty, and democracy can still survive.

I believe they can. And I will fight to make sure they do. That’s my promise to you.

Last week, I took all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of me and my family. And while the 36-hour barrage of death threats left me shaken and baffled, it did not silence me.

It enraged me.

They want a fight? They found it.
