This past weekend, LCV took part in the No Kings rally. An estimated 7 million people gathered at 2,700 No Kings events in all 50 states and abroad, making it the single largest day of protest in modern U.S. history. It was truly amazing to see people powerfully and peacefully showing the world: This is what democracy looks like. |

Trump said it was small; he said no one would show up. And as usual, he was flat out wrong. |

|
But here's what matters even more than numbers: Our movement is building the strength and momentum we need to stop authoritarianism in America. |
|
|
We here at LCV worked with hundreds of grassroots organizations across the country to make sure these events would be as impactful as they were. But this isn’t the end — this is just the beginning. |
|
|
Our movement is growing, and Saturday’s turnout proves it. Now is the time to keep organizing, keep growing, and make sure Trump knows that we have No Kings in America. Not now, not ever. |
