John, humanitarian crises are escalating at an alarming rate. More bombs in Ukraine. More hunger in Sudan. More children are suffering as famine overtakes Gaza.
Save the Children has been working around the globe to help children and their families withstand the devastating impacts of these crises. From addressing hunger to providing education and supplying medical aid, our teams are ensuring children survive the most dire situations. But we can’t keep up without your help.
Humanitarian aid funding cuts have made our work even harder as children’s needs surge.

Will you make a gift today and help us reach the children enduring war, hunger and displacement?

After two years of war and devastation, the recent pause in hostilities brought some measure of hope for children and families in Gaza. Amid this long-awaited, delicate moment, children still suffer from hunger, disease and lack of medical care. Aid restrictions have blocked food, water and other essentials from reaching the people who need them most.
Despite ongoing challenges, we are rapidly scaling up our response to meet the immediate needs of children and their families as they start to rebuild their lives, and work towards long-term recovery.

Nour*, Nazek*’s 1-year-old daughter, is one of the millions of children impacted by this crisis – but today, she’s thriving with support from Save the Children. When Nour became sick because of malnutrition, our teams provided ready-to-eat therapeutic food for her to eat. For four months, our clinics monitored and treated her until her health improved and she started walking. While we were able to treat Nour, more children are coming to the clinic each week to be treated, as food is still extremely difficult to find. We’re scaling up aid to be ready to surge into Gaza to meet the needs of the two million people who need it most.
John, Gaza’s children have experienced what no one should experience in their lifetime. They've been forced to flee violence again and again, sleeping in fear of losing loved ones – reduced to skin and bones while living every day with less hope for peace than the day before.
Save the Children has been responding and remains in the region to deliver relief. Our teams have reached over 113,000 Palestinians with health care, treating 14,000 people from malnutrition and vaccinating younger children against polio. We’ve also provided safe water to over 575,000 people.
In total, we’ve reached over 1.6 million people — including 811,000 children — with lifesaving aid. That’s all thanks to supporters like you.
Our work goes beyond Gaza, so children caught in crises receive the care they deserve. In other areas of conflict, we have reached 8.3 million people, including 1.1 million children impacted by the war in Ukraine, 1.7 million children enduring the humanitarian crisis in Sudan and over 2.5 million people impacted by conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Save the Children provides health care, nutrition, protection and education to kids worldwide.
John, your support today can help more children survive war, disaster and extreme poverty.
