Hi folks,

Over the past few weeks, I’ve met with health care providers, doctors, and families across southern Nevada — and the stories I’ve heard are heartbreaking.

Parents told me how Medicaid made it possible for their children to get therapy that changed their lives. Others shared how they rely on Affordable Care Act tax credits to afford health insurance — credits that are now at risk because Republicans in Washington refuse to act.

As the government shutdown continues, 85,000 Nevadans could lose these ACA tax credits , and health care costs could rise by nearly 200% — on top of a 26% increase already expected next year.

For many Nevada families, that means the difference between having health coverage or going without it.

That’s why I introduced bipartisan legislation to extend these tax credits and prevent these devastating increases. Because health care isn’t a partisan issue — it’s about protecting families and doing what’s right.

But I can’t do this alone. We’re facing our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and your support is critical to keeping this campaign strong and focused on protecting affordable health care for every Nevadan.

Can you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can today to help us reach our goal? [[link removed]]

This fight is about making sure families across Nevada can get the care they need without going bankrupt. Thank you for being part of this team and standing up for affordable health care.
