Connecting with our community and residents is one of the most important and rewarding aspects of being your elected state representative. In an effort to have more ongoing, informal opportunities for us to sit down with one another and engage in conversation, I am launching a 'Coffee and Conversation' meeting series hosted on Friday mornings in our district.
Friday, October 24th, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM we'll be back at Flava Café. No registration is needed.
This is a great opportunity to connect, share your thoughts, and discuss the issues that matter most to our district. I look forward to hearing directly from you. See you there!
Connecting with our Community
I had the distinct honor of meeting with the bright students from the High School for Recording Arts’ Coffee Club. We dove into thoughtful and important discussions covering community safety, leadership, and the incredible power of young voices to shape Minnesota's future. Their passion and insights were truly inspiring, leaving no doubt that the future of our state is in incredibly capable hands. Keep an eye on these future leaders!
As Vice Chair of the Minnesota House St. Paul Delegation, I was proud to join my colleagues for a productive meeting with diverse downtown small business owners. Thank you to Chair María Isa Pérez-Vega and her office for hosting an important community conversation to uplift the backbone of our economy and cultural vitality.
I will continue to advocate at the Legislature for increased investments, accessible funding opportunities, and systems modernization to make running a business easier and more accessible for every entrepreneur.
Upcoming Town Hall on Public Safety
Join me for the next Town Hall meeting focused on public safety in our district and exploring tangible, actionable improvements. The meeting will take place at the Liberty Plaza Townhomes on Wednesday, October 29, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. I look forward to hearing directly from you, giving space for neighbors and community members to voice concerns, and collaboratively shaping our community's future.
