Health Insurance Open Enrollment starts on November 1! We’re Here to Help!

If you are currently uninsured, or enrolled in Marketplace coverage, Open Enrollment is the one time of year you can sign up for—or renew—your insurance. Our Health Services team is here to help!

Open Enrollment begins on November 1 and runs through January 15 in most states, and through January 31 in New York. If you want coverage to start on January 1, you must enroll by December 15.

We are not brokers or agents. We offer unbiased, free and confidential one-on-one counseling to those in the entertainment industry. Our Health Services team will:

Help you understand your options
Review changes in the law that may affect this year’s coverage
Give you resources to find help in your state
Tell you how to access health care if you’re uninsured
Present strategies for estimating freelance income
Guide you on how to select a health plan

Our free, weekly workshop—Every Artist Insured—is held every Thursday at 12:30 pm ET. To attend, please sign up through our Portal at portal.entertainmentcommunity.org.

Can’t make it to the workshop? We offer free one-on-one counseling and enrollment assistance. Once you’ve registered on our portal, go to How We Help >> Counseling & Consultations >> Health Insurance Counseling and fill out the short form to request an appointment.
