I bet you still remember getting handed the keys to your first car, friend. I sure do.

That old, used Cutlass Supreme? It meant more to me than just freedom.

I always knew I wanted to spend my life fighting for the people and communities I love. When the Great Recession hit and the American car industry faced extinction, I wanted to step up and do something for my state. So I answered the call to serve as chief of staff to President Obama’s Auto Rescue initiative, and we helped save over 200,000 Michigan jobs and stabilize our economy.

Fast forward to today, and Michigan jobs are once again at risk, this time from Donald Trump and his reckless tariffs – which are threatening the jobs of tens of thousands of hardworking Michiganders. 

Trump said he “couldn’t care less” if auto prices rise. 

Well, as someone who has spent my time in Congress fighting for Michigan jobs, Michigan families, and Michigan workers, I couldn’t care more.

That’s why I’m in this race, friend – because just like that day I got the keys to my old Cutlass, we have the power to chart a new path. I’m determined to become Michigan’s next senator, stop Trump’s chaos, and keep fighting for working families here in Michigan and across the country. But I need your help.

Our race in Michigan will decide Senate control, and The Cook Political Report rated it a “Toss Up.” The GOP is going to come after me with everything they’ve got, and I can’t fight back without your grassroots support.
