Donald Trump is trying to tip the scales in our race for Governor of Virginia.

He endorsed my opponent last night. And yes, how much we raise in response matters a lot. But it's about more than that. It's about the message we send.

We have momentum on our side right now. But that could change once our latest fundraising numbers become public.

If our fundraising numbers are strong, we'll be able to continue turning out voters and laying the groundwork to flip Virginia blue. If we fall short, it gives my opponent and National Republicans an opening to bring Trump's agenda to our Commonwealth.

That's why I feel the responsibility not just to win, but to win big.
