Friend, it’s Sherrod – and here’s one thing you should know about me:

I’m an Ohioan through and through.

I grew up in Mansfield, walking the halls of Johnny Appleseed Junior High with the kids of union workers. I spent summers working on my family's farm and going to baseball games with my dad. I raised my kids here, and I’m proud to call Columbus home.

That love for Ohio – and for the people here – is why I’m running for Senate. Right now, no one is fighting for Ohio families in D.C., and that's a job I know I can do. 

That's why I'm coming off the sidelines and why I'm asking you to join me and take this fight to Washington. Will you chip in $5 today to power our grassroots campaign to victory and flip Ohio's Senate seat?

When I say we're building a true people-powered movement, I mean it. Just on Day One, folks from all 88 counties in Ohio chipped in $5 or $25 because they know we can build a fairer country where hard work pays off for all of us, not just a lucky few.

But this is going to be one of the most competitive and expensive Senate races in the country, so we need to build the biggest movement Ohio has ever seen.
