Early voting is officially underway across Georgia. Our mission at Greater Georgia is to educate and mobilize voters -- and the initial results show there is more work to be done!
As of October 19, statewide turnout is at 1.31%. The top performing counties (as a percent of the early voting electorate) are:
Fulton (19.4%)
DeKalb (8.2%)
Cobb (5.8%)
Gwinnett (6.2%)
Fayette (2.9%)
Henry (2.9%)
Houston (2.6%)
Clayton (2.5%)
Chatham (2.4%)
Coweta (1.8%)
Our early voting analysis shows that turnout varies widely by county, and too many voters still don’t realize there’s a statewide election on the ballot this fall. That’s why our mission, to educate, engage, and mobilize Georgia voters, matters more than ever.
