MEMORANDUM

To: Friends, Donors, and Supporters of Dr. Scott Jensen

From: Campaign Leadership Team

Date: October 2025

Subject: Scott Jensen’s Strength and Tim Walz’s Growing Vulnerabilities

Walz’s Weaknesses:

--A majority of Minnesotans (54%) say the state is on the wrong track.

--Governor Tim Walz’s approval rating is underwater at 47% approve / 52% disapprove.

--Nearly half of voters describe his bid for a third term as “a bad thing.”

--Concerns about fraud, waste, and government corruption top the list of issues for Minnesota voters, and a large share hold the Governor directly responsible.

--On taxes, cost of living, and crime, Minnesotans increasingly trust Republicans more to provide balance, accountability, and results.

Jensen’s Strength:

The October Minnesota Voter Omnibus Survey confirms what many across the state are already seeing: Dr. Scott Jensen begins the 2026 race in a commanding position.

Jensen is earning more support than all other announced Republican candidates combined — and he leads the field even when potential, unannounced challengers are included. In fact, he draws more votes than Mike Lindell, Lisa Demuth, and Chris Madel combined, by a wide margin.

Among Republicans who hold an opinion of him, nearly nine in ten (87.5%) view Scott Jensen positively, giving him the deepest reservoir of goodwill and trust in the race. No other candidate approaches that level of recognition or support.

Together, these numbers show that Dr. Jensen has both the grassroots base and the credibility to unite conservatives and win over independents looking for leadership that’s competent, steady, and grounded in Minnesota values.

Bottom Line:

Tim Walz is vulnerable.

Scott Jensen is strong, trusted, and ready to lead.
