Organizers set out to make the second No Kings Day even bigger and better
than the first back in June — and we succeeded!

On Saturday, nearly 7 million people showed up to more than 2,700 events
across the country, in what was one of the largest days of protest in U.S.
history!

In all 50 states, from small towns to big cities, people came out to
peacefully and joyfully protest, say no to kings and tyranny, and oppose
Donald Trump’s cruel attacks on our communities. [ [link removed] ]Union nurses were out
in force, speaking, marching, and rallying, from New York to California
and everywhere in between.

millions marched today across the country to raise our voices in
solidarity. We won’t accept authoritarian rule that props up wealthy
billionaires while working people struggle. America belongs to us. No
thrones. No crowns. No kings!

Nurses helped lead this massive day of action, and we were proud to
co-host the No Kings march and rally in San Francisco, CA, which was
attended by over 100,000 people.

The people running our country want to destroy our health care, invade our
cities, and turn a conman into a king. Not under nurses' watch — as RN and
NNU/CNA president Cathy Kennedy told the crowd, "We’re all here today
because we REFUSE to let that happen!”

The Trump administration wants profiteering health care corporations and
fascist crackdowns. Sandy Reding, RN and CNA/NNOC President, reminded us:
"Together, we can show them who’s really in charge!"
