I’m still feeling the energy from this weekend’s No Kings Rally, and I wanted to share a few moments with you.

We started with the Pledge of Allegiance, hand over heart, all of us saying together: β€œwith liberty and justice for all.”

That’s something I’ll never take for granted. Because lately, it feels like some in power have forgotten those last two words, for all .

I looked out and saw veterans, federal workers, contractors, families β€” people who love this country deeply. Folks who show up, serve, and keep our communities running. And yet, too many in Congress are more interested in playing politics than doing their jobs.

They’ve stalled votes, walked away from negotiations, and left families paying the price while finding time for golf and press conferences.

So I said what we’re all thinking: Do your job.

Because this isn’t about partisanship. It’s about patriotism. It’s about believing in a democracy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy or well-connected.

I believe Virginia can lead the way. We have the energy, the people, and the power to send a message that our democracy belongs to all of us.
