On Friday, Trump commuted George Santos’ sentence, releasing him from prison.

Let’s not forget: George Santos lied, stole, and scammed his own supporters.

And who played a vital role in helping Santos get elected? Elise Stefanik.

Stefanik publicly endorsed Santos and helped him raise hundreds of thousands of dollars, with CNN reporting that donors “gave to Santos, who was largely unknown to them, because Stefanik, the state’s most influential elected Republican and a prolific fundraiser, backed him.”

This is the problem with Washington and career politicians like Elise Stefanik. She cares more about power than actually helping people, so she’ll help elect anyone who will support her political agenda.

I’m running for Congress to do things differently. I’m not in this race to climb the political ladder or make myself rich. I’m in it to help North Country families get by and get ahead.
