John,

This past Saturday, I spoke at No Kings Day. Because there is absolutely NO place for a self-imposed monarchy in our country.

We are witnessing the dangerous rise of authoritarianism in our country. Trump and his billionaire allies want to crown themselves rulers over our democracy, but the people of St. Louis know better.

We don’t bow to kings. We don’t answer to billionaires. We answer to each other.

As I shared with the crowd who braved the rain: this is nothing in comparison to the rain that we’ll have to live through if we don’t resist a Donald Trump Administration today. What our children and children’s children will have to endure if we don’t stand up and fight fascism.

Families are being squeezed from every side. Groceries, rent, and utility bills keep climbing while wages stay flat. Health care is broken, jobs are vanishing, and the same powerful few keep getting richer while our communities are left to struggle.

But let me tell you something about St. Louis: Our district doesn’t break, and we reject the Trump Administration’s authoritarianism and the rise of fascism.

When the government turns its back on us, we take care of each other. When a crisis hits, we rise together. When they try to ban books and deny our history, we come back with receipts. When they try to silence our voices, we get louder and stronger.

That’s what this campaign is about. It’s about the future of Missouri’s First. It’s about protecting our democracy, defending our communities, and proving that people power still wins over corporate greed.

I’m running to put an end to corporate interests – the same forces cashing in on Trump’s bid to rule like king and attempting to keep fighters like me out of Congress. These billionaires want to call the shots while your rent, groceries, and bills keep rising. That’s why I’m asking you to pitch in.

Your support fuels our grassroots movement, inspires me to fight for families, and keeps democracy in the hands of the people. Without it, they keep running our country, and life only gets harder.

If you believe in a country with NO KINGS yesterday, today, and tomorrow, chip in right now to stand with me in this fight >>
