Just look at the MAGA Republicans' government shutdown. Democrats are ready to make a deal that would protect access to health care, invest in our communities, and lower costs — but MAGA Republicans chose to take a hardline stance in favor of Trump's extremist policies instead.
As a result, hundreds of thousands of workers have lost paychecks or will soon, government services have gone offline, and Americans of all backgrounds are set to face challenges gaining access to affordable healthcare.
All because Republicans care more about showing partisan loyalty than delivering for Americans. When politicians play games, working people always lose.
