“Schrier letter demands Department of Energy reverse Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub termination” - NCW Life
john,
Earlier this month, the Trump Administration pulled $1 billion in clean energy funding from Washington— money that was supposed to power the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub.
This project would have created more than 10,000 jobs, brought billions in private investment, and helped secure America's clean energy future. Now, that progress is at risk, and it's all because our president would rather play petty politics than fight for our district.
That's why Kim is fighting tooth and nail to get this funding restored. She signed a letter with other Washington and Pacific Northwest lawmakers to Energy Secretary Chris Wright that denounces the funding cancellation and demands action to get it back.
This project didn’t start off politically; it came from years of teamwork across party lines to make our region a leader in clean energy and good-paying jobs. But the Trump Administration is making it political—these funding cuts in Washington State mirror cuts to more than 200 other similar programs, all in primarily blue-leaning states.
john, Kim's message is clear: Washington deserves better. We need to restore this funding, protect local jobs, and keep America moving forward.
If you stand with Kim, add your name now to demand the administration reverse this decision and return the promised investment to Washington immediately. >> [link removed]
