Last week, it was revealed that one of my opponents received hundreds of thousands in contributions from AIPAC—the pro-Israel organization that MAGA billionaires use to ensure Democratric lawmakers support Israel and comply with Trump’s fascist agenda.

The lengths at which AIPAC and my opponent went to hide their collusion are insane.

Not only is MAGA working to crush Democrats through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and persecution, but they are also working covertly to fund candidates in Democratic primaries to defeat strong progressives in solid blue districts across the country.

They’ve already spent millions to defeat Democrats like Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman and now they’re coming for us here in Chicago.

If my opponent wants to run a campaign financed by Republicans, she should drop out and run in the Republican primary instead.

At a time when Chicago and many other Democrat-run cities are being terrorized by the Trump administration, Democrats need to know their elected officials won’t stab them in the back.

IL-9 deserves a strong Democrat to represent them, someone they can trust to fight against Trump’s fascist agenda and for a more affordable future in Congress. They deserve someone who will side with them, not MAGA billionaires bankrolling their political career.

But make no mistake: AIPAC will spend millions to try to buy this seat. We need to fight back—fast and hard. Will you rush a contribution of $50, $25, or whatever you can spare to help keep IL-9 in the hands of a real Democrat?
