For three weeks, federal workers have gone without pay — while still doing the jobs that keep this country running.

Air traffic controllers. Inspectors. Public health staff. They’re all showing up. And yet, the Trump administration and their allies in Congress refuse to show up for them.

Let’s be clear: Republicans caused this shutdown, put healthcare for millions of Americans at risk, and are now using this moment to push their disastrous MAGA agenda.

Real families are skipping paychecks. Some are being forced to choose between rent and prescriptions, between groceries and gas, medical appointments or keeping the lights on.

This is cruelty, plain and simple. Federal workers deserve a paycheck, not punishment.
