This session will focus on understanding federal cuts to Social Security, SSI, and SSD, and what you can do to fight those cuts. See below for more information and RSVP details. Most of us have paid into Social Security all of our lives. We rely on Social Security for stability in retirement, in case of disability, or if we lose a working spouse. Clearly, these funds are vital, particularly since half of older adults rely on Social Security for the majority of our income. Learn about the impact of the Federal budget cuts to Social Security, SSI, and SSD, what can be done to fight the cuts, and what needs to be done to keep the Social Security system solvent for the future.
