͏ Fellow American, It’s just one meal...but it means everything. |
The American Veterans Center (AVC) is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting the stories of America’s veterans. We share these legacies through documentaries...oral histories... educational programming...events like the National Memorial Day Parade — and especially through our annual American Valor Conference, where veterans gather with military cadets and midshipmen. For more than 25 years, AVC has been a trusted guide in honoring veterans and connecting generations. When you give, you’re helping us fulfill our mission: ensuring every veteran is remembered, honored, and celebrated. |
Meals like these shape lives, Fellow American. At last year’s conference, a cadet from Texas A&M called the experience of lunch with WWII heroes “truly inspirational — something I will never forget.” At nearly every meal, young cadets will sit side-by-side with World War II heroes, listening to stories of Normandy, Iwo Jima, and the Chosin Reservoir – thanks to you, Fellow American. At the evening reception, Post-9/11 veterans will raise a glass in fellowship – thanks to you, Fellow American. These simple moments carry a profound message: America remembers, honors, and thanks her veterans – and inspires the next generation to follow in their footsteps. Please, Fellow American, make your most generous gift of $35, $70, $100, or even $200 to sponsor a meal for veterans before the conference begins. |
The mission of the American Veterans Center and the World War II Veterans Committee is to preserve and promote the legacy and experiences of America's veterans and active duty service personnel from World War II through today.
