What an incredible turnout at this weekend’s No Kings protests here in the Chicago area and across our Nation!

Millions of people came together to say what so many of us believe: we will not bow to authoritarianism, and we will not be silenced by fear.

At a time when Trump and his allies are weaponizing law enforcement, deploying ICE against our communities, and threatening to use the military against American citizens, our voices matter more than ever.

This movement is proof that people from all backgrounds can come together and stand up for justice. That we can show strength through unity, compassion, and courage.

Our right to speak freely, to protest, and to demand better from those in power — that’s what democracy looks like.

Every chant, every sign, every person who showed up sent a message loud and clear: We will not be ruled. We will be heard.
