John,
When I first started volunteering at my kids’ school in Westminster, I never imagined it would lead me to public service.
But as I spent more time at their schools, I saw firsthand how unevenly our schools were funded – and how those gaps hurt students, parents, teachers, and community members. So I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.
I chaired our school district’s bond campaign to invest in classrooms, co-founded an education nonprofit to empower students and families, and eventually ran for local office because I wanted to make an even bigger difference.
And when I was elected to the State Legislature, I carried those same lessons with me — that every child deserves a great education, and that strong public schools are the foundation of strong communities.
That’s why I passed the bill that fully funded Colorado’s public schools for the first time in more than a decade. It’s one of my proudest accomplishments, and it started with a simple question: What more can I do to help?
Now, I’m running for Congress to keep fighting for the same values that brought me into public service – investing in our kids, protecting opportunity for every family, and ensuring government works for the people it serves.
This race is one of the most competitive in the country. I need you by my side as we grow this campaign. Will you chip in $15, or anything you can, to help us keep up the momentum?
