With no end in sight for the Republican shutdown and increasing hunger and economic instability, I encourage you to join me in supporting an organization that is making a difference for Oregonians, the Oregon Food Bank.
As this shutdown drags on, families who rely on nutrition assistance programs like SNAP and WIC could face delayed benefits. This will create a higher demand for food assistance.
It's unacceptable and inhumane.
Millions of Americans are already dealing with the rising cost of food and housing and struggling to put meals on the table. In Oregon, 1 in 6 kids are facing food insecurity. In marginalized or vulnerable communities, the numbers are even higher.
I'm lending my support to the Oregon Food Bank. Can you join us and make a $10 donation?
The Oregon Food Bank Network is made up of 21 regional food banks across the state that partner with more than 1,200 free food markets and pantries. Together, they distributed the equivalent of more than 91 million meals last year to Oregonians facing food insecurity.
As a member of the Congressional Hunger Caucus, I work to find solutions that will help end hunger, increase access to affordable nutritious food, and strengthen our nation's food systems. I'm enthusiastically supporting the Oregon Food Bank during this challenging time.

Thanks for standing with me,
