Team,
Over the weekend, I marched with thousands of Chicagoans downtown to send a message loud and clear:
There are NO kings in Chicago. NO kings in Illinois. And NO kings in America.
No matter how many times Donald Trump calls us a “chaotic hellhole,” Chicago shows who we are: peaceful, strong, united, and joyful. No kings. No hate. No fear. Everyone is welcome here.
Seeing thousands come together — families, organizers, students, neighbors — to stand up for our rights and our democracy filled me with so much hope. This is what America looks like when it refuses to be ruled by fear.
When we march, when we speak out, when we stand together — we make progress. And judging by Trump sharing desperate AI-generated images of himself wearing a crown and dumping feces on protestors, I think it’s fair to say we got under his skin.
That’s the power of peaceful protest. That’s the power of us.
So whether you marched on Saturday or are part of this movement from home, I want to ask you to take one more step today:
Add your name to say you stand with us — and that there are NO kings in America.

In togetherness and hope,
Juliana Stratton
