The Supreme Court’s birth control decision is just WRONG.

I'm furious.

Today's Supreme Court decision is just plain wrong. It upholds the administration's horrible rules that allow employers and universities to push their religious or moral beliefs on employees and students by denying them access to insurance that covers birth control.

Birth control is essential health care that nine in 10 women will use in their lifetimes, and it's one of the strongest tools we have in the fight to advance race and gender equity — so of course they want to control it.

We will not back down, and we need you on the front lines with us. We MUST ensure victory for reproductive freedom. Fight back with a donation that will stand up for reproductive freedom, protect our rights, and help elect leaders who will make sure we have laws and courts that champion sexual and reproductive health for years to come.

Join Our Dissent

I dissent from the Court's judgment, under which, as the Government estimates, between 70,500 and 126,400 women would immediately lose access to no-cost contraceptive services."

— Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Join our dissent if you want a world where everyone can control their own bodies and make decisions for themselves — no matter who you work for, where you go to school, how much money you make, or the color of your skin.

Join our dissent if you believe that Black and Latinx people, for whom basic health care has always been out of reach, and who right now are suffering most from the COVID-19 pandemic — should have more, not less access to essential care like birth control.

Join our dissent if you are DONE with politicians who force through medically unnecessary abortion restrictions, pack courts with judges, many of whom have records opposed to reproductive rights, disenfranchise voters, exploit of a public health crisis, and do nothing to fix the systemic racism that has left many people of color deprived of health care — and are ready to vote them out.

This decision is a huge blow, and all the more reason why we need you in this fight right now. Donate now to Planned Parenthood Action Fund to stand up for your rights, help elect pro-reproductive health champions, and to continue fighting for reproductive freedom wherever and whenever it is needed for years to come.

When we join together, we will be heard loud and clear: We dissent.

In solidarity — and in anger
Sincerely,
Alexis McGill Johnson, President & CEO
