Continuing Education for Real Estate Licensing
The Minnesota Department of Commerce (Department) is seeking applications from education providers to provide continuing education courses for real estate licensees, or those pursuing their real estate license. The purpose of this program is to provide funding to qualified continuing education providers to offer approved courses, free of charge. This grant opportunity is provided under the Real Estate Education, Research and Recovery Fund (REERF) (Minn. Stat. 82.86 [ [link removed] ]).
Applications received by, 5:00 pm CST on November 10, 2025, will be reviewed for funding eligibility in order received until funds are depleted. There is $300,000 of funding is available to qualified applications. Selected grantees cannot incur expenses until the grant contract agreement is fully executed.
Applicants must meet the minimum requirements to be considered for this grant opportunity.
Applicants must:
* Be qualified continuing education providers (Stat. 45.30, subd. 6 (a) (1), (2), and (3) [ [link removed] ]) who have received approval according to Minn. Stat. 45.30, subd 6, (a) [ [link removed] ] to offer or provide approved education courses.
* Provide continuing education courses appropriate and related to the knowledge ( Stat. 45.25, subd. 2 [ [link removed] ]) of obtaining or maintaining a real estate license.
* Qualified continuing education courses must be approved by the Department (Stat. 45.30, subd. 6 [ [link removed] ])
* Provide facilitation of the course, and course materials free of charge.
A Request for Proposals (RFP) and required forms will be available for download on the Department’s website [link removed]) through the deadline of Monday, November 10, 2025, 5:00 PM. Responders who download the RFP will be apprised of Q & A postings and any information related to the funding opportunity.
Instructions for submitting proposals are detailed in the RFP. Proposals not submitted as instructed and *late proposals will not be considered.*
This request does not obligate the State to complete the work contemplated in this notice. The State reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. All expenses incurred in responding to this notice are solely the responsibility of the responder.
