John,
The Q3 campaign finance reports are public and what we raised just sent a massive shockwave throughout all of New Hampshire.
We raised over $400,000 from 10,000 individual donations, more than any other candidate in this race by a mile, and with an average contribution of $34. No one expected us to do this. This changes everything about our race.
Now let me be clear, we are the dark horse in this race: our multi-millionaire GOP opponent plans to self-fund his campaign to the tune of millions, but we have time to close the gap and beat him with grassroots power.
And unlike our opponent, I am not going to spin you on who is fueling our campaign. The facts are clear. MAGA courts ultra-wealthy and corporate donors that want to maintain the status quo, while we are talking to regular working people—teachers, bus drivers, accountants.
These supporters gave because they believe in what this Campaign is fighting for: ending America’s blood-soaked foreign policy, Medicare for All, an economy that works for all of us, and standing up to MAGA with everything we’ve got.
This is why this Campaign represents such a threat to the establishment and to the GOP who has been laser focused on ensuring we aren’t the Democratic nominee from day one.
Speaking about our campaign, a GOP strategist told NH Journal yesterday, “Urrutia is the long term story. He has a chance to be New Hampshire’s Mamdani, coming out of nowhere to marry NextGen appeal with the purest progressive message.”
