I am pleased to announce that my candidacy for re-election to the Charlotte City Council has been endorsed by the Sierra Club North Carolina Chapter "for your commitment to the environment and environmental justice."

I have championed sustainable infrastructure and a resilient future for our city including adoption of Charlotte's original Strategic Energy Plan in 2018. This year, Charlotte City Council adopted the
Strategic Energy Action Plan Plus ([link removed]) - an updated and expanded roadmap for reaching the city's climate and energy goals. SEAP+ builds on our original plan and outlines bold goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, transition to clean energy and create a healthier, sustainable, and thriving community.
