Governor DeWine Signs Bills Into Law
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the following bills into law:
* House Bill 57 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by State Representative Dontavius L. Jarrells (D-Columbus) and State Representative Josh Williams (R-Sylvania Twp.), regarding school policies on the administration of overdose reversal drugs, and limits on student attendance in released time courses in religious instruction.
* House Bill 144 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) and State Representative Brian Lorenz (R-Powell), to expand the communication disability database to include any person with a disability, to expand access to that database through countywide 9-1-1 systems, and to name this act "Keith's Law".
