This week, the Trump Administration announced that ICE will not grant visas or allow entry for international students enrolled at universities that plan to operate online for the upcoming fall semester.
During a global health and economic crisis, the President and his administration are taking the opportunity to ramp up immigration restrictions and target international students. These students not only bring diverse worldviews and perspectives to college campuses but also contribute millions of dollars to our economy. It is vital that we protect them.
If you agree, sign the petition to defend international students and speak up against the Trump Administration’s harsh immigration restrictions.

These new restrictions are putting international students and universities in an impossible situation. Some universities, including ones here in San Diego, are considering holding in-person classes to protect international students, despite the campuses otherwise being closed. Trump has the power to keep our schools safe, but is instead putting more lives at risk for political gain.
Students from across the globe come to the United States in search of education and opportunity. It’s inhumane to deny them of opportunities they earned in order to score political points and further Trump's anti-immigrant agenda.
I hope you’ll stand with me and speak up for international students. Sign your name here to protect international students.
