When I announced I was pregnant with my son, my parents dealt with their excitement and fears about their first grandchild by planting a huge organic vegetable garden so that I would have plenty of healthy food. Even today, several downsizing moves and houses later, my parents continue to grow fruits and vegetables in their limited green space, to inoculate mushrooms in the woods, and to fill the windowsills with herbs. They share with neighbors, who in turn plant their own gardens. The cycle goes on.
In this installment of Justice This Week, we’re looking at chain reactions, both good and bad. What motivates change? How can one action, as small as a drink or as large as taking control of data, trickle down?
