:
John,
Used in everything from makeup to non-stick pans, toxic PFAS chemicals are now found in the drinking water supply for 158 million Americans.[1]
Join us to learn how to find out if there is PFAS in your drinking water, and how to remove the toxic "forever chemicals" from your water at home.
US. PIRG Education Fund is teaming up with Environment America, Consumer Reports, and the Green Science Policy Institute for a webinar on health impacts of PFAS, and how you can protect yourself and your family from these harmful chemicals.
RSVP for No Toxics on Tap Webinar happening Friday, October 24th at 11am PT/2pm ET.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), commonly called "forever chemicals," are a group of man-made chemicals used in many consumer products to make things stain-proof, water-resistant, and nonstick.
They're nicknamed "forever chemicals" because they never fully break down, and can persist in our environment or bodies. The chemicals are toxic even at very low exposure levels, increasing the risk of cancers, immunosuppression, liver disease, developmental and reproductive harm and more.[2,3]
When PFAS-treated products are manufactured, washed or disposed of, the chemicals can end up in our waterways, and eventually our drinking water.
The good news is that there are ways to reduce exposure to PFAS, including filter systems to remove it from your drinking water if it's contaminated.
Join us to learn how you can protect yourself and your family from PFAS, and how to help us rid this toxic chemical from our environment. RSVP for the No Toxics on Tap Webinar.
