A family in Seattle dropped their dog, a black labrador named Mitch, off at a local kennel one day, not expecting anything unusual to occur. But Mitch's stay at the kennel ended with an employee brutally kicking and punching him - to the point of death.

In the video, officials could see the man using a "wooden weapon" to beat the dog. Authorities attempted to make contact with the man, but he refused to exit his home and instead, apparently "barricaded himself inside." While inside the home, he threatened authorities before later opening the door and attempting to assault them.

[Doctor Left Her Dog In a Storage Bin]([link removed])
Cleaners showed up to a rental unit in Chicago where they were supposed to clean an apartment between tenants. The most recent tenant - a children's doctor - had been evicted and had left items behind when she left.
In the bathroom, they found the ex-tenant had left something unusual and alarming: a plastic storage bin - where a dog had been shoved and locked inside, barely able to breathe.
