John:
Dan Forest -- Roy's extreme-right opponent -- just launched his first TV ad and paid one million dollars to put it on the airwaves.
This comes right after he tried to void Roy's executive orders to help slow the spread of coronavirus, including limits on mass gatherings and wearing masks.
A million dollars is a lot of money, but this is just the first ad of the cycle.
The Republican Governors Association and other out-of-state dark money groups are going to dump millions more into this race to prop up Dan Forest, and the only way we can fight back is if a whole lot of folks chip in what they can.
Roy can't beat this major seven-figure ad buy alone. If you're in a position to chip in, can you rush a contribution of $10 to help him fight back?

Thanks,
Team Cooper
We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight.
