After more than a month of hard work, the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force on immigration is proud to release a pro-immigrant vision for America that celebrates the role immigrants play in our country, protects the rights of immigrant families, and ensures America remains a beacon of hope around the world.

I was honored to co-chair this task force and champion the voices of immigrants in America. Our recommendations lay out a clear path that ensures America’s recovery from this pandemic includes immigrants, undoes the harms on immigrants of the Trump Administration and rights the wrongs of the last few decades, and enacts a 21st century immigration policy that strengthens our communities and ensures America is once again a beacon of hope around the world.
