Hi John,

Yesterday, I joined my neighbors at a No Kings protest to stand together against Trump’s authoritarianism.

John, it was truly inspiring.

At a time when it feels like our leaders are doing nothing to stop Trump from becoming a dictator, seeing the people come together to fight back ourselves was a bright light in the darkness.

When we organize, take action, and make our voices heard, we can do what the establishment has failed to. We can protect our democracy, stop Trump in the short-term and Trumpism in the long-term, and build a new Democratic party that actually fights for us.

That’s what this campaign is all about. We’re not going to wait for someone to come save us, because they won’t. We’re stepping up to fight for our future ourselves.
