Trump and Republicans control every branch — House, Senate, and White House — yet they still can’t keep the government open. Why? Because they don’t want to negotiate, even on extending ACA subsidies that make health insurance affordable for working families.

Slamming Trump for Putting Americans Last

Trump found $20 billion to bail out Argentina but says we can’t afford to help Americans keep their healthcare. That same $20 billion could have extended ACA subsidies for an entire year, preventing premiums from doubling for millions of families. So much for being "America First."

Joining the 'No Kings' March in DTLA

We are a proud country of immigrants, not kings. On Saturday, I joined the No Kings march in DTLA. Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies want to steal our democracy, silence workers, and strip away everything we've fought for. Our message, we’re not going to give up and we’re not going away.
