Republicans have been flooding Virginia’s polls early, John.

After months of investment from Glenn Youngkin and national conservative groups, their early turnout push has been showing strong results.

In the first weeks of early voting, numbers leaned Republican — a sharp change from past cycles and a clear sign the right is pulling out all the stops to keep the Governor’s Mansion and flip the House of Delegates.

Right now, Democrats hold the majority in the House of Delegates by just one seat.

To protect and expand that majority, we’re mobilizing every resource to hold the House of Delegates and turn out the votes needed to flip the Governor’s mansion blue. And thanks to our incredible volunteers, we’ve already reached out to more than one million voters.

But we’ve seen just how close these races can get. In 2023, Sister District candidate Kimberly Pope Adams lost her race by just 53 votes. That’s the margin that can determine whether we protect and expand the Democratic majority — or lose it. 

That means from now until November 4, we need to out-organize the GOP and reach as many Democratic voters as possible over the phones, on the doors, and online to ensure they cast their ballots.
